Bulk URL replacement
Repoint many dynamic QR codes at once. Use this when a landing page moves, a campaign ends, or a domain changes, and you need every affected QR updated without editing them one by one.
When to use it
- A landing page URL changed and dozens of printed QRs still point at the old one.
- You are migrating destinations from a staging domain to production.
- A seasonal campaign is over and every QR should now point at an evergreen page.
Only URL-type dynamic QRs are affected. Static QRs cannot be changed after printing, and non-URL QR types are skipped.
Run a replacement
- Open QR codes and start a bulk replace.
- Enter the find value (the current destination, or a fragment of it) and the replace value (the new destination).
- Run a dry run first. ExaRoutes shows you exactly which QRs match and what each one would become, without changing anything.
- Review the preview. When it looks right, apply the change.
A single bulk replace covers up to 1000 matching QRs. If more match, narrow the find value and run it again.
Safety
- The dry-run preview is the safety net. Always check it before applying.
- Applying a bulk replace may prompt you to re-confirm your identity, because it changes where publicly printed codes redirect.
- Every bulk replace writes a single summary entry to the workspace audit log (Settings → Audit), so you have a record of what changed and when.
- The printed QR codes themselves never change. Only the destination they redirect to does.
